Returns & refunds

This policy explains your right to cancel an order placed in the Baltic Lasers online shop at customer.baltic-lasers.eu, how refunds are handled, and the statutory warranty that applies. It complements our Terms of Use and Delivery terms.

1. 14-day right of withdrawal

Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, as amended by Directive 2023/2673) you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Where an order is delivered in several parts, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

2. How to request a return or cancellation

  • From the order page in the portal — open the order and use the Withdraw / Cancel action.
  • Or by contacting our support team, quoting your order number.

You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you notify us of the withdrawal. Please return items in a resaleable condition, ideally in their original packaging.

3. Refunds

We refund to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or, for an order that had not yet been delivered, within 14 days of your withdrawal notice). We may withhold the refund until the goods are returned or you provide proof that you have sent them back.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless we agreed otherwise or the goods were faulty; where applicable, the return-shipping cost may be deducted from your refund as set out in our Terms of Use.

4. Exclusions from the 14-day withdrawal

Some items are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal by law, including:

  • event tickets and other services tied to a specific date or period of performance (EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(l));
  • services that have already been fully performed with your prior consent;
  • goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and sealed goods unsealed after delivery that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons.

Where an exclusion applies, it is indicated before you complete the purchase.

5. Statutory warranty

In addition to the right of withdrawal, goods are covered by the statutory 2-year warranty under the Estonian Law of Obligations Act. If an item is faulty or does not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund. Manufacturer warranties, where offered, apply on top of your statutory rights.
